Finding the Cause - Thoughts, Traumas, and Toxins.
Most people who have experienced a significant shift in their health have one thing in common. They can pinpoint an event or “stressor” that occurred prior to losing their health and experiencing an onset of sudden symptoms. For each patient it is different, however the most common ones that I hear are pregnancy, dental procedures, a catastrophic life event, introduction of a medication, antibiotic or vaccine, moving into a musty smelling home, as well as prolonged stress. Each of these stressors fall into one of 3 categories: Emotional Stress (Thoughts), Physical Stress (Trauma) and Chemical Stress (Toxins). Sometimes all 3 will happen within a short period of time, leading to a dramatic and permanent change in someone’s health. It is important during a new patient health history to try and pin point what the trigger was in a patient’s health decline. Although the stressor is rarely the “cause” of the health issue it does give us more insight into what lead to it, which is important in figuring out the cause.
Thoughts
Stress, tension, anxiety, depression… your mindset influences every avenue of your life. Often times emotional stressors can create permanent shifts in your physical health. To achieve true health, you must first understand where it comes from.
